Anna's Background
With over thirty years of professional experience, Anna Kirshblum is a highly trained therapist. She has specialized expertise as a bereavement counselor.
Her knowledge of grief and end of life concerns has enabled her to work with people who are mourning the loss of a loved one, coping with fertility struggles and or pregnancy loss. In addition, she counsels people suffering from anxiety and works with them to develop an individualized treatment plan.
Anna has worked in a variety of settings including nursing homes, social work agencies and assisted living facilities. She provides clinical consultation for clergy and leads community programs on aging, caregiving, bereavement and depression. She has presented at professional conferences.
Anna received her Master’s Degree from Columbia University. She holds post Master’s Certificates from NYU in Advanced Diagnosis and Assessment and Spirituality and Social Work. She is licensed in New Jersey and New York.
